Gold Cards are earned by participating in Doyles Room ring game tables. How it works is each time a pot reaches its rake cap, the Doyles Room Random Number Generator (RNG) will release one Gold Card from their Vault. If the Gold Card released matches one of your hole cards, you’re awarded this card even if you have folded out of the hand. If no player holds the Gold Card released, the RNG will continue to randomly choose Gold Cards from the Vault until a match is found.

Gold Card Odds

The 2010 Gold Card Vault consists of 5,000,000 Gold Cards. The cards are not evenly spread; for example, the odds of the RNG choosing the deuce of clubs is ‘1 in 7’, and the odds for the eight of hearts is ‘1 in 383’. To view an image that we created which has the odds for each card click here.

Gold Card Rewards

We’ve mentioned how to earn Gold Cards, now let’s get into the many rewards you can receive for collecting Gold Cards at Doyles Room. The available rewards are as follows:

Gold Cards Daily Lottery: Each day, Doyles Room announces a different Gold Cards lottery. If you have the Gold Cards in your collection that match the lotteries entry-fee, you redeem the cards for a ticket. In 2010, Doyles room is giving cash rewards, as well as entries to exclusive Reward tournaments with guaranteed prize pools through their Gold Card lotteries.

Monthly Prize Hand: Each month, Doyles Room announces a different five card poker hand. If you make this hand during that month, you’ll earn a guaranteed cash prize.

Gold Card Tournaments: At Doyles Room, it is possible to enter some of their tournaments with Gold Cards instead of cash. Of the most popular Gold Card tournaments is one that offers seats into the Irish Open or World Series of Poker super satellite.

Gold Card 500: Doyles Room offers a weekly Gold Card race. As you earn cards, you’re moved along the race track, and at the end of the week, if you’re one of the top ten finishers, you’ll receive up to $500 in cash.

$52,000 Jackpot: Each year, the first player who completes a set of all 52 Gold Cards is given a cash prize of $52,000. If no player accomplishes this, the $52,000 jackpot is given to the player who comes closest.
